So we just got a quick screen grab from an internal rogers system showing an update on the status of the much anticipated blackberry torch, we already knew it was coming to Rogers on friday september 24 but this is showing that available customers for upgrades and new customers alike will be able to grab one on for a cool $199.99 on a new 3 year term of course!

Check out the pictures and try and contain your excitement until it’s officially launched and remember we’ll do a new full review of it closer to the date!

So word on high has finally fallen and Rogers has given the go ahead on Blackberry’s new flagship phone letting people of Canada know that September 24th they will be able to bask in the Torch’s glory!

Rogers will be offering it for $199.99 on a 3 year contract and probably somewhere around $549.99 with no contract.

Likewise Telus has a teaser page on their website announcing it will be coming soon, and Ma Bell has nothing “posted” but a quick search on their site for “Torch” says it finds results in the store even though nothing is displayed, we’re assuming they will probably get the Torch around the same time as Rogers.

So who’s ready to camp out overnight to get their hands on some new Touch Blackberry awesomeness?

And don’t forget to check out our exclusive full review of the Torch that we did back when it was released on AT&T with video and all.

We’ll give updated impressions once we have our hands on a Rogers model.

After a brief unplanned released video yesterday Motorola has opened the gates and announced the Milestone 2 officially.

It indeed is the GSM equivalent of the Droid 2 in every way. It has the same 1GHz Processor, 512 RAM, 5 megapixel camera (with the added 720p video recording which is a nice surprise), 8GB of integrated storage plus an 8GB micro sd card and Android 2.2 with MotoBlur.

It is expected to launch in Europe in Q4 and we’ve yet to hear word about the rest of the world but we’re digging around for more details.

Well due to a miss-uploaded video onto youtube, we finally have it confirmed that there will infact be a Milestone 2 heading overseas and hopefully Canada-side very soon! Just like the first Droid it looks to be an exact copy of the Droid 2 just renamed and GSM obviously for the rest of the world.

Motorola quickly yanked the video off of youtube so unfortunately we can’t see it now, but hopefully very very soon we’ll have more details as to when and who will be getting one! Plus we’re dying to get our hands on one as well and we’ll for sure keep you all in the loop!

In case you forgot, the Milestone 2 has a 1Ghz OMAP processor, 512MB Ram, 5 megapixel snapper, and comes with Android 2.2 stock!

Finally one of the rumored Android tablets looks like it’s going to see the light of day! Samsung has just announced that they will be officially announcing their new Tablet the Samsung Galaxy Tab on September 2nd, they even threw in a quick video to keep you going until then.

It’s go thrills, it’s got chills… it looks amazing. Check it out below:

Some features they mention are:

-Android 2.2

-Google Maps

-Video Calling

-Full web browsing

-7-inch screen

If this is what the Samsung tablet will be like, who else can’t wait to see what Motorola has up their sleeves? Oh man!

Activision has finally let the cat out of the bag and all you die hard Bond fans can breathe a sigh of relief. For anyone wanting to play the NEW Goldeneye game coming out on the Wii without having to swing their arms around and recapture the original glory, they will be releasing a limited edition Golden Classis Controller for the Wii in a special edition box set of the game!

The game which is set to be released this November on the Wii is a look back at the classic and most arguably best Bond game created to date (back on the N64). This new iteration of the game isn’t an exact remake but based off the same story rewritten with Daniel Craig’s new take on Bond and a new look at all the old locations.

The game is set to come out in November prices at $49.99 or now announced $69.99 with the golden controller, no word on whether you can buy it separately or not.

Now who’s ready for some old school first person shooter action?

So it’s taken months, seemingly hundreds of leaks and rumors but the final word has finally come down from on high. Verizon has announced that the Droid 2 is in fact real and will be shipping this Thursday August 12th for $199.99 on a 2-year contract.

It seems that it’s everything we’ve seen leaked, the 3.7-inch touch screen, it WILL be shipping with 2.2 Froyo upgrade, the renewed QWERTY keyboard, 5 megapixel camera, DLNA streaming and 8GB of memory and an extra 8 GB microSD card. It also has SWYPE pre-installed which is awesome and Flash 10.1.

Also confirmed is there will be a Star Wars inspired R2-D2 inspired edition of the Droid 2 which is pretty awesome. It’s said to be available online only in September and will probably sell out very fast.

Verizon is letting customers upgrade early for anyone whose contract is ending by December 31, 2010 now to any smartphone without penalty!

Preorders go on sale tomorrow!

So who’s going to line up for this one?

It's finally official!
