Usually this time of year brings out all the scary stories and ghost tales and things to frighten us all, but it’s also the beginning of the gift giving season, and well if this rumor is true, a whole lot of developers will be getting a GREAT BIG present next week in the form of the Android 3.0 Gingerbread SDK being released.
Gingerbread is supposed to be the first big step in reinventing the UI of Android devices making it silly for big manufacturers to keep making their “homebrew” home replacements (here’s looking at you Blur…)
If we do see the release next week, we’ll all be able to see some nice gingerbread goodness in the form of emulators pretty much right away? Who’s thinking this could be an awesome christmas?
