Well it seems as if our dreams of the next “Sick†phone have all been but squashed for now as engadget have received a new Verizon inventory screen shot clarifying a little more on what the new Droid 2 handsets/skus are.
Looks like the A957 that we were hoping was the DroidPro or “Sick†(supposed to be bigger badder processor, 4-inch screen etc) is actually the Droid 2 R2D2 edition and the A956 is indeed just the Droid 2 World Edition.
This still leaves us to wonder where this “Sick†codename came from and if it maybe referred to another device? Only time will tell…
