So T-Mobile has unveiled their newest Android friend that is hoping to steal a little of the green spotlight back from Big Red. The G2 the Google 1’s successor is still made by HTC and has an interesting hinge keyboard similar to the old one.
T-Mobile is also claiming this is “the fastest smartphone experience in Americaâ€, but it’s actually packing a Qualcomm Scorpion CPU which is actually clocked only at 800MHz rather than most other power houses now packing 1GHz. This however may not be a lie as it is said to be running completely stock 2.2 Froyo with no added bloat ware slowing the phone down, so it will be interesting to see how this bad boy runs.
Price and date haven’t been confirmed yet but we’ll keep you posted!
